I am Dr. Bedour Askar, an artist with a PhD in gifted education, and a lifelong passion for art that began in my childhood. Women and nature are my greatest inspirations, as I see a profound connection between them. My artistic style, which I describe as abstract realism, captures the essence of this connection, blending realism with abstract elements to evoke deep emotions and reflections.

From a young age, I was drawn to the world of art, continually taking classes to refine my skills and explore new techniques. This journey of learning has never stopped; it culminated in my transformative experience at the Milan Art Institute. There, I honed my craft and learned everything I needed to become a professional artist.

My work has been showcased in numerous art shows across Kuwait, Riyadh, Madrid, and Dubai. These experiences have been enriching and have allowed me to connect with a diverse audience.

Outside of my art practice, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with friends. I believe in following joy wherever it may lead, and this philosophy is reflected in both my life and my art.

At the core of my artistic philosophy is the belief that human beings are free souls. We should be free to pursue our true selves without societal judgment or constraints. Through my art, I strive to encourage this freedom, inspiring others to be who they truly are and not what others expect them to be.
