Dr. Bedour Askar, a Kuwait-based artist, specializes in captivating portraits, especially of women, exploring themes of liberation and societal freedom. Despite holding a Ph.D. in Gifted Education, Bedour is largely self-taught, honing her skills through dedication and a transformative experience at the Milan Art Institute. Her work, celebrated locally and internationally, speaks powerfully of the female experience. Currently, she's exploring a new series featuring hummingbirds and flowers, symbolizing resilience and beauty.
